ABOUT CHRIS GEE

Born and raised in New Zealand, Chris Gee has been a professional Concert Audio Engineer since 1995, trading as StereoImage since 2005.

From early in his career, Chris has had the opportunity to work with many of New Zealand's greatest artists across every genre of music - from Jazz to Metal, Reggae to World Music.

His current clients include artists such as The Black Seeds, Fly My Pretties, Eru Dangerspeil and Anika Moa.

Chris' work has taken him all over the globe, touring extensively in New Zealand, Australia, North America, Europe, Asia and the Pacific.

Although primarily working freelance, Chris has had long-standing relationships contracting to a number of Production and Promotion companies, including New Zealand's premier Sound System Hire company, College Hill Productions(link).

Chris prides himself on his reliability and professionalism, and has built up a solid reputation for versatility, delivering results, and getting the best out of any situation.

Complimenting his skill mixing Front of House, Chris' experience as a musician enables him to anticipate what artists need from their on-stage monitor mix.

Since gaining his Diploma in Audio Engineering in 1994, Chris has continued to study the art and science of Audio Engineering, including undergoing training to become a Qualified V-Dosc Technician in 2006.

Chris' experience at Mixing, System Design and Production Management, make him capable of fulfilling multiple roles for your event.

He has a clean standard Driver's license and is experienced driving left and right-hand drive vehicles.
