ABOUT CHRIS GEE

Chris Gee discovered his talent for photography while touring Indonesia as an Audio Engineer in 2004. Since then Chris has set about turning his talent into an integral part of his business, completing a Diploma in Freelance Photography from the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies in 2005.

Proficient in a wide range of photographic styles, Chris has become best-known for his Aviation, Music, Landscape and Wildlife images, in particular Macro, Low-light and Long Exposure shots.

Chris has covered Aviation events in England, Russia, Germany, Australia and New Zealand with images published in international aviation magazines and websites, such as Air International, Pacific Wings, KiwiFlyer, Australian Aviation, Classic Wings, and MilAvia.net. He has also vigorously chronicled his adventures as a touring Audio Engineer, producing images that many artists have subsequently used in their publicity materials.

Motivated by the challenge of capturing the beauty and majesty of the world in a single frame, Chris' photography has not gone unrewarded. His images have received several honours, highlights being first place prizes in D-Photo Magazine Photography Competitions and three prizes in the 2005 Tourism Auckland Photo Competition.

Chris has been employed to photograph commercial events by clients such as Telecom, Gen-I and the New Zealand Music Commission. Chris shoots exclusively digitally, and can offer a range of post-production, image manipulation and printing services, as well as consulting with you to create the perfect image to meet your needs.
